Calgary-born cellist Arnold Choi is an outstanding young musician.He won first prize at the Pasadena Showcase Instrumental Competition and at the Montreal Symphony–Standard Life Competition. He has given numerous performances both as a recitalist and in chamber music concerts in North America, Europe and Asia. Montreal pianist Wonny Song is also one of Canada’s most illustrious young artists. Winner of the Prix Étoile Galaxie in 2002, the Prix d’Europe in 2003 and first prize in the Young Concert Artists International Auditions in 2005, he is known for his wonderfully poetic touch.
