Martin Ringuette

A native of Trois-Rivières, Martin Ringuette began his studies in Robert Ellis’ class at the Conservatory in his hometown before going on to obtain his D.E.C. in Performance at the Cégep de Trois-Rivières. After having completed his Bachelor’s in Performance at the Université de Montréal in Albert Devito’s class, Martin Ringuette obtained his Master’s at McGill University (orchestral training) under the tutelage of James Box. While completing his studies at university, he also furthered his training with such renowned names as Peter Sullivan and Murray Crew. Martin Ringuette freelances for various ensembles including the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal, the Société de Musique Contemporaine du Québec, and Les Grands Ballets Canadiens. He is a member of several chamber music groups including the Résonance brass quintet and the Chœur de Métal ensemble. In addition to performing in Jeunesses Musicales of Canada’s All Aboard to Planet Alloy, Martin Ringuette teaches at the Université de Sherbrooke and at the Cégep de Trois-Rivières.
