Kristie Ibrahim

Kristie Ibrahim received a Master of Music from McGill University in Montreal in the class of D’Arcy Philip Gray. She has performed professionally with various chamber ensembles and orchestras in Canada, USA, New Zealand, Mexico, and France including New Zealand percussion ensemble Strike. Ibrahim is a co-founder of percussion ensemble Sixtrum and percussion duo Akrostick with Fabrice Marandola. She has a keen interest in arts education and interdisciplinary collaborations with other artists.
Her work in Geordie Production’s The Jungle Book, was nominated for "Best Sound Design" in the 2008 Montreal English Critics Circle Awards.
