Julien Grégoire is a versatile and well-known percussionist on the Montreal scene. Actively involved in contemporary music, Grégoire is a member of the Nouvel Ensemble Moderne, the Société de Musique Contemporaine du Québec, Percussion Ensemble Sixtrum, Transmission, and duo Traces with flutist Guy Pelletier. He has performed in numerous concerts and recordings in several countries, notably in Europe, the United States, Canada, and Asia. Grégoire’s artistic explorations have also led to collaborations in theatre, dance, and in musical improvisation.
