Actor Isabeau Proulx-Lemire has worked with some of Quebec City’s finest stage directors,including, among others, Gill Champagne, Jacques Leblanc, and Frédéric Dubois. He has worked with Cirque Éos, Opéra de Québec,OSQ,Les Fêtes de la Nouvelle- France, and the Carnaval de Québec. He holds a degree in vocal performance from the Université de Montréal, and frequently appears as a professional chorister with the Académie baroque de Montréal, the World Youth Choir, and Cirque du Soleil (Corteo album). As a soloist, he appears as a singer actor in operetta (Opéra bouffe du Québec, Jeunesses Musicales of Canada), opera (Opéra Comique de Paris, Chants Libres), popular music (Karen Young’s Âmes Corps et Désirs, Cirque du Soleil’s La Nouba), and musicals (Les Productions Dina-Bélanger, Les Misérables at the Capitole de Québec).
