Dominic Boulianne studied with Suzanne Goyette at the Conservatoire de musique in Chicoutimi and in Montreal, and with Gérald Lévesque at the Conservatoire de musique in Quebec. He then benefited from the guidance of André Laplante, Angela Hewitt, and Pascal Roger.
Dominic Boulianne has worked as a rehearsal pianist at the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal with maestros Kent Nagano and Michael Zaugg. He was a guest accompanist at the Festival da camera di Musica de Tocco da Casauria in Italy. Over the last three years, he was the pianist for productions of Les Misérables and Peter Pan. As an actor, in 2009-2010, he appeared in Les Leçons de Maria Callas alongside Louise Marleau, directed by Denise Filiatrault at the Théâtre du Rideau Vert (Montreal). For four years now, he has portrayed Henry in the Jeunesses Musicales of Canada concerts Annabelle Canto and Annabelle Follows the Sound of Her Own Voice, performed nationally. In 2007, he formed the TrioSphère ensemble, with which he appears across Quebec, and, in 2009, he formed the Théâtre Opéra Immédiat company.
