André Bourbeau named Chevalier of the Ordre national du Québec

 

André Bourbeau, Chairman of the Jeunesses Musicales of Canada Foundation and President of the Montreal International Musical Competition, has just been appointed Chevalier of the Ordre national du Québec.

Valérie Milot

Young Quebec harpist Valérie Milot is the winner of the prestigious Prix d’Europe 2008, the first harpist in almost one hundred years to take this honour. In April 2008, she graduated with great distinction from the Conservatoire de musique du Québec in Montreal, and received the Wilfrid-Pelletier scholarship awarded to selected students of the conservatoire network for their excellent grades and the quality of their career plans.
